| My high school yearbook dubbed me "a
sweet and giggly girl." That girl is long gone.
I ate her. She tasted good. I am now a practicing intellectual.
I read what I do because I find the truth stranger,
more profound, and always more interesting than fiction. |
I like to read teen fiction, historical fiction and
graphic novels, especially manga (in Japanese or English).
If I’m not reading, I’m playing video games,
working on knitting and other crafts, or surfing the
Internet looking for cool videos and communities. |
My
ABCs:
A-Art, Anabelle (my Pembroke Welsh Corgi) & Animals who accessorize.
B- Biographies, Books on tape & Birds.
C-Children's books (my profession and my passion),
Chocolate & Cross-stitching. |

| I like to read children’s books,
fantasy, mystery, historical fiction, fairy tales and
cook books. When I’m
not working, reading or taking care of my daughter, I like
to sleep. I used to like watching television, going to movies,
cooking and having friends over for afternoon tea. |
I’m fascinated by the details of the everyday.
History is my passion, especially social histories
and books about the effects of war/peace on civilization.
I like to read first hand accounts such as diaries,
letters and journals. Other reading interests are historical
mysteries, travel guides, the gentle, cozy English
novel and books about animal/people relationships.
For children’s books,
I enjoy picture books with themes of kindness, empathy
and a
sense of the “Spirit”. |
I
like to read romance and fantasy. In my spare time when I'm not reading
or watching too much tv, I craft and make a mess. I like to celebrate
the tacky and absurd.

I
have scrapbook fever. I love coordinating colors, embellishments and
incorporating the latest technique to make a beautiful scrapbook.
When I'm not pasting up a storm, I'm reading the latest graphic novel
or listening to some new punk rock group.
|
Since
I’m camera-shy, I decided to use
my cat Chibi as my stand-in evidently, the shyness trait has been
passed on. Being a children’s librarian, my main reading material
is children’s
books which I devour on a daily basis. To get me to read adult
books other than murder mysteries, I must be assured of their excellence. |
I
was born and raised in San Jose, and enjoy reading a bit of everything,
but especially enjoy listening to Spanish and English rock. I have
traveled throughout Mexico, Argentina and Uruguay, and would one day
like to lead a revolution. |

| I
like to read and listen to all kinds of books- fiction and
nonfiction for children, teens, and adults. I love to knit
(and read about knitting). |
The
three things in my life that matter the most to me all
start with B; books, bikes, and third is just for me.
|
I
am an unabashed reader of popular fiction, especially mysteries and
romance. My perfect day includes several hours in an art museum. |

I like to read poetry, animal stories, folk and fairy
tales, and comic books. I also love funny stories! My favorite
holiday is Halloween, so I enjoy reading ghost stories. I like
to go to the opera, and especially enjoy classical music from
composers such as Bach, Mozart, and Vivaldi. One of my hobbies
is making cards, so I also enjoy reading craft books.
|
I
am a Bay Area native. I am also a tremendous film fan who can’t
stop regaling friends and even total strangers with film trivia.
I love to read and will read anything I can get my hands on but I
tend to gravitate towards science fiction. I also love listening
to music from film scores to classic R&B and playing sprawling
epic video games. I have traveled extensively in the continental
USA but aspire to one day leave these shores for distant lands. |
I
am all over the map when it comes to what I read, listen to and watch.
Diverse interests keep me young at heart and international flavors
spice up my life. I am unique like everyone else, or so I've been
told!
