Santa Clara County Library offers the ST200X Film Scanner and ST Companion Flat Media Scanner. This multi-media scanning station allows you to view, scan, save and print the following flat media:
- Aperture Cards
- Standard & Jumbo ( 6” x 9”) Microfiche
- Jumbo 6” x 9” Opaque Microcards
- Opaque Micro Prints
- Film Transparencies (up to 6” x 9”)
- Glass & Film negatives
- Color Slides
- Papers, Books & Magazines
The flat bed scanner captures images at up to 12,800 dpi. All scanned images can be converted to a variety of formats, including PDF, JPEG, PNG and TIFF. A View Print option is available to make a printed copy of what is being viewed. Scans can be edited for cropping control, rotation control, brightness & contrast and advanced image adjustments. The digital files can be saved to a USB Flash Drive, or SD Memory Card or printed to the default printer available at the library.
