Storytime Hours

Toddler Storytimes up to 3 years old, Tuesday & Wednesday at 10:15 a.m.

Preschool Storytimes 3 years and up, Tuesday & Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. AND Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.

Bedtime Storytime, 3 years and up, Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.

Special Participating Workshops for babies and caregivers

For BABIES up to 12 months, Mondays at 10:30 a.m.

AND for BABIES 12 -24 months, Mondays at 11:30 a.m.

Sept 29th, October 6th, 20th, 27th, November 3rd and 10th.

This program is just for baby and adult - sorry, no siblings.

10/8/08, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. ~ Caterpillar Puppets @ Los Altos Library ~ Come see the Itty-Bitty Variety Show, featuring "The Three Little Bla-Bla-Blas." During this hand puppet show, kids get to join the Caterpillar Puppet Club. All ages welcome.

10/11/08, Saturday, 2:00 p.m. ~ Afternoon Family Movie @ Los Altos Library ~ Mitchie desperately wants to attend a rock camp, but can only go if she works in the kitchen as one of the cooks. Can she confront her fear and step out of the kitchen?

10/15/08, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. ~ Fall into a Good Book Club for 4th through 6th Graders! ~ Come join our book discussion group where we talk about an exciting and entertaining book and enjoy light snacks. Our October selection is The Fire Within by Chris D'Lacey.

10/16/08, Thursday, 7:00 p.m. ~ Maasai stories, songs and dances by Hellen Nkuraiya ~ Come meet Hellen Nkuraiya and learn traditional Maasai songs and dances as well as stories about life as a Maasai child.

10/22/08, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. ~ Santa Clara Valley Model Aircraft Skypark Info for 3rd graders and up ~ Are you interested in model aviation in the Santa Clara Valley? Paul Hasselback will present his model airplanes, a slideshow of different aircraft, and be there to answer your questions.

10/29/08, Wednesday, 3:30 p.m. ~ Jazzercise with Jerome! ~ Fitness is Fun! Join Jerome Flowers and move, dance, stretch, and enjoy the music! Come prepared to get fit! All ages welcome.
