Los
Altos Library Commission
Los Altos Library Commission is appointed by
the city councils of Los Altos and Los Altos Hills. Their mission
is to advise the library and the city councils on the needs
of the public. The Commission meets at 5:30 pm on the first
Tuesday of each month at the Los Altos Library.

Joint
Powers Authority of the Community Service Area
The Community Service Area is the nine cities
represented in the County Library and the surrounding county
unincorporated. Each of the nine cities appoints one representative
to the JPA and there are two representatives from the Board
of Supervisors to represent county unincorporated.
North
County Library Authority
The North County Library Authority is the special
parcel tax established in 1985 & 1990 between Los Altos and
Los Altos Hills to fund additional hours, materials, and services
for Los Altos Libraries and to fund the remodel and expansion
of the Main Library in 1992. Your representatives to the JPA
which governs the North County Library Authority are:

- Jean
Mordo for the Town of Los Altos Hills.
Los
Altos Library Endowment
The mission of the
Los Altos Library Endowment is to increase the financial
support for the library's services, collections, equipment,
facilities, and programs.
