National Stroke Association

Develops compelling community outreach programs, calls for continued improvement in the quality of stroke patient care, and educates both healthcare professionals and the general public about stroke. Information also available in Spanish.

National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS)

Conducts and supports research on brain and nervous system disorders. NINDS was created by the U.S. Congress in 1950 and is a division of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
