Volunteers
are at the heart of every good library; libraries could not function without them!
Some Gilroy Library volunteers have been part of our library family for more than
15 years, working thousands of hours to enhance library services and resources.
Our volunteers serve a few hours a month, a couple of times of month, or every
week. We appreciate every moment of service they provide to us and to our community.
If you wish to volunteer
at the library, please request a Volunteer Application at one of the public service
desks. After you have completed and returned the application to the front desk,
we will call you to set up an interview. We talk to all volunteer applicants to
make sure that their goals and those of the library are compatible.
