The Gilroy
Amtrak boarding stop is located in front
of the Caltrain passenger train station in downtown Gilroy (located at Monterey
and Depot Streets). Caltrain
commuter trains and Amtrak coaches share this Gilroy Station. Amtrak trains connect
with the Capitol Corridor train
route in San Jose or Oakland. Amtrak schedules can be found on the www.transitinfo.org

Transportation Commission. Caltrain:
The
Gilroy Caltrain Station (located at Monterey and Depot Streets) offers bicycle
lockers, a wheelchair lift, passenger shelter, public telephones, and free all-day
parking. Caltrain tickets are not available at this site, but can be purchased
on the train. The

connect with the Gilroy Caltrain station from the South County area: San

number for road conditions, traffic speeds in your area, report a maintenance
problem, or find other travel related information pertaining to California transportation,
including construction sites, rest stops, scenic highways, rail systems, and other

Clara County Bikeways Trails: Gilroy
bike routes connect with Bikes on Transit service routes for
VTA, Caltrain, Light Rail, or to lockers where bikes can be stored. VTA/Santa

Airport Flyer (Route 10) connects
with VTA buses, Caltrain, and Light Rail stops in San Jose, providing a free link
to the San Jose Airport for Gilroy travelers. Parking for up to 7 days is provided
at listed Park and Ride lots in the Santa Clara County area. (The Park and Ride
lot closest to Gilroy is located at the Santa
Teresa Light Rail station) - Valley

Service Advisors:
VTA
has Accessible Service Advisors who can assist seniors and persons with disabilities
plan for their transportation needs. Currently, 100% of VTA buses and Light Rail
trains are accessible and have assisted passenger lifts. VTA vans are also available
to assist passengers make connections when lifts may fail or not be operable. Outreach
