    A support and referral service for youth, their friends, and their families with over 4,000 agencies and services listed. Volunteers can assist with homelessness, runaways, family violence, HIV/AIDS and STD's, depression, anger and other topics of importance to youth who need to talk.

    Child Protective Services:
  • The Department of Family and Children Services operates a Child Abuse and Neglect Screening Center 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    In the Gilroy/Morgan Hill area call: 408.683.0601. The site also has information on Mandated Reporters (professionals who must report child abuse or neglect.)

(Counseling for family violence, drug/alcohol abuse, parenting effectiveness, appropriate discipline, caring for medically fragile children, and other family issues. Culturally specific services are available for Chicano/Latina, African American and Asian American families. WIC services, gang prevention, and sexual abuse treatment is also available at this location.
