How It Works

In order to listen to and manage your collection you need to download the OneClickdigtial Media Manager.

  1. Go to the Library's OneClickdigital page.
  2. Create a New Account (click link located in the upper right hand corner).
  3. Enter your personal information and select your computer's operating system and download method (we recommend the OneClickdigital Media Manager), choose a User Name and Password, then click "Create Account."
  4. Login to your newly created account (click link located in the upper right hand corner).
  5. Once logged in, find a title that you are interested in and click on the cover. From the detailed title information page, look for the button to download the OneClick Media Manager (currently only available for Windows).  The button is located on the lower-right hand side of the page, labeled "Download OneClickdigital Media Manager."
  6. The link will guide you through the download process and set-up the OneClick Media Manager.
    • A file download dialog box will appear that asks you to "Run", "Save" or "Cancel". Click "Run."
    • Next you may see an additional dialog box letting you know that the publisher cannot be verified and asking you if you are sure you want to run the software. Click "Run."
    • Next you will be prompted to install Microsoft .Net Framework 4 if it is not currently installed on your computer. Click "Accept". It will take a few minutes while the installation package verifies application requirements.
    • Next, you will see a dialog box prompting you to install the application. Click "Install". It will take a few minutes to complete the installation.
    • Once the installation is complete you will see a dialog box welcoming you to the OneClickdigital Media Manager. Click the "Next" button.
    • You must acknowledge that you have reviewed the License Agreement and accept the terms in the agreement. Once you have done this click "Install."
    • Finally, click "Finish." This will launch the OneClickdigital Media Manager.
    • Click on the "Connect to Profile" button, select your username, enter your PIN or password and click on "Login." This will connect your online digital media collection to the media manager and allow you to listen to selections you have downloaded.
    • OneClickdigital Media Manager will open!
  7. When the Media Manager is installed, a Media Manager icon should appear on your desktop. To begin selecting audiobooks for download, return to the OneClickdigital home page and browse the collection.
  8. Click on titles of interest for more information or to check out a title. Once checked out, the OneClick Media Manager will automatically open, allowing you to download and listen to your selections or transfer them to other devices.
  9. You may transfer an audiobook to a USB connected iPod / iPhone / iPad, or other supported device (e.g. generic mp3 player such as Creative, SanDisk, Sony), by clicking on the download/transfer button next to the title when using the OneClickdigital Media Manager. For Apple devices the OneClickdigital titles are transferred to the Music folder.

Please note: If you did not choose to use the OneClickdigital Media Manager as your default player, but decide at a later time you would like to install it, click on the button that says Download OneClickdigital Media Manager.

Additional Information

Why are there two Chapter 1 listed?
The program initially downloads the first five minutes of audio and then completes the downloading of the rest of the chapters while you listen. If the first chapter is more than five minutes, it is split. On transfer to a device, the chapter's audio is again merged and will only be one track.

Will my titles be added to my iTunes or Windows Media Player library?
While the OneClickdigital Media Manager uses iTunes or the Windows Media Player to transfer content onto your portable device, the files are not saved in iTunes or Windows Media Player. They can be played back using the Media Manager. If you choose to manage your audiobook files manually the files can be managed in iTunes or Windows Media Player.

Can I cancel a hold?
Yes, you can cancel a hold from the "My Collections – Holds" tab. Simply click on the link that says "Remove" next to the title information.

Can I renew the titles I have checked out?
Users can renew titles prior to their expiration date up to two times. In addition, you have the option to change your settings to be notified 48 hours in advance of the title expiring. If the title is a single access title and there is a hold on it for another patron, you would not be able to renew a title. To renew a title, go to the Title Details page under the Checked Out tab and click the Extend button. You can also extend your check out period for a title by clicking the Extend button for that title in the OneClickdigital Media Manager.

Can I download a title more than once?
If you have already downloaded a title, it is available for listening or transfer for the period of checkout. Audiobooks may be downloaded to the same computer multiple times. If the audiobook is protected with DRM, the audiobook may be transferred to a maximum of two devices. If the audiobook is downloaded more than DRM permits, the audiobook will be deleted from the patron’s library. If you wish to checkout a title again after it has been returned, you can checkout and download it again if it is available.

Can I return a title early?
Yes, if you have finished listening to an audio book and would like to return it before the expiration date you may do so from the OneClickdigital Media Manager. Simply click on the button that says "Return Now" under the information for the title in question under the Checked Out tab.

Can I delete content from my OneClickdigital Media Manager?
No, you cannot delete content from your OneClickdigital Media Manager. However, you can return audiobooks early, which would remove the title from your Media Manager.

Why am I getting 'Connecting to device' message when my device is connected?
If your iPod's battery is very low, this message will display until the device has sufficient power to download the title.

What if I have forgotten my username or password?
If you have forgotten your password you may reset it by clicking on the link "Forgot your password" on the login page. If you forgot your username, please email support@OneClickdigital.com for assistance. You will need to provide your email address that you used for creating the account. Alternatively you may create a new account using a different email address.

How do I uninstall OneClickdigital Media Manager?
To uninstall your OneClickdigital Media Manager please contact support at support@OneClickdigital.com.
