Well-known mystery author, Laurie R. King, is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. The Bee Keeper's Apprentice (1994), was the first novel in her Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes mystery series. The Pirate King, the next book in the series, will be released on September 6, 2011.
Ms. King is also the author of the Kate Martinelli mystery series, set in contemporary San Francisco. |

Come join the Cupertino Knitters
Every Tuesday Afternoon
4:00 -- 6:00 p.m.
in the Library Story Room
Make new friends and get inspired to start a new project, or finish an old one. Open to knitters of all skill levels, aged 10 and older. Knitting instruction is available on the first Tuesday of each month. Each person must bring their own needles and yarn.
