Campbell Meeting Room Rules
The Santa Clara County Library Meeting Room Policy also applies
Nonrefundable fee: $10.00 per use
Available hours: Tuesdays, 12:00 noon – 8:30 p.m.
Wednesdays & Thursdays, 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Fridays & Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
Monday & Sunday, not available
Frequency of use: Groups may use the room no more than once a month
Group size: Minimum of 8 persons, maximum of 100 persons
Responsibility for use: The person in charge of the meeting must agree to have the group follow meeting room policies and must sign a meeting room application prior to each meeting
Set-up and take-down: The group is responsible for arranging the chairs and tables before the meeting and for putting them back after the meeting
Reservations: May be made in person or by phone with the Adult Reference Desk (408.866.1991)
May be made up to 3 months in advance on a first come, first served basis
Should be cancelled promptly if the meeting is cancelled
Should include time to set up and restore the room
Proper use of room: Light refreshments may be served if properly cleaned up
A sink and electric outlets are available
Noise level should be appropriate to a library
Attendees must enter and leave through the library’s public doors
Pick up trash and garbage and place it in the can or take it away
Do not attach anything to the walls or doors without permission
Do not open windows
Turn out the lights and notify the library staff when you leave
Use of library facilities:
Restrooms are available across the hall
A public telephone is available outside the library
Library telephones are not available for use
Library staff will not take messages or contact attendees except in emergencies
Groups must provide any equipment needed, including television, VCR, projector, etc.
High voltage equipment is not allowed.

Wireless service with a valid Santa Clara County Library Card & PIN number.

Projection screen
Priority for use: Meetings sponsored by the library and the City of Campbell have priority for use of the meeting room. Some restrictions that apply to outside groups do not apply to them. Priority for other groups is: schools, civic, and nonprofit groups presenting meetings of public interest.
The Community Room is the Emergency Operations Center for the City of Campbell, which may evict other groups at any time for that purpose.
