America the Beautiful Senior Pass
This is a lifetime pass for U.S. citizens or permanent residents age 62 or over. The pass provides access to, and use of, Federal recreation sites that charge an Entrance or Standard Amenity. The pass admits the pass holder and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas (children under 16 are admitted free). The pass can only be obtained in person at the park.

California State Parks Senior Discounts and Passes
State residents 62 years of age or older are entitled to year-round $1.00 discount permits for vehicle day use and a $2.00 discount for family camping in state-operated parks regardless of income status without the need to purchase any pass. Proof of age based on California Driver License or other identification card is required. A Golden Bear Pass costs $5/year and entitles the bearer and spouse or registered domestic partner to the use of all State Park System operated facilities where vehicle day use fees are collected, except Candlestick Point State Recreation Area, at no further charge. Any person 62 years of age or older with income limitations specified on the application form; or any person receiving aid under the applicable aid codes in the CalWORKS Program is eligible to receive the Golden Bear Pass.
