OUTREACH program
The Senior Transportation Program was established in
2005 in response to the need for transportation alternatives
for the County's older adults. The Senior OUTREACH program
prevents premature and unnecessary institutionalization of
seniors, keeping at-risk seniors living independently and
leading self-sufficient lives. Passengers with a valid Outreach
Card receive free rides on VTA Local, Express bus service
and Light Rail. The pass is not honored on Highway 17 Express,
Dumbarton Express, Caltrain and Sports Service. |
